Board of Adjustment

This is a five member voluntary board that hears cases concerning requests for Variances and Special Use Permits. The Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month, as needed. To go before this board you need to fill out an application in the zoning office, pay the fee and a public hearing will be set up for you.

Planning & Zoning Commission

This is a eight member voluntary board that hears cases and recommends to the Board of Supervisors to approve or deny rezoning requests, revisions to the Zoning Ordinance, Waiver of the Subdivision Ordinance, preliminary plat and final plat aproval. The Board meets on the first Wednesday of each month, as needed.To go before this board you need to write a letter of application, pay the fee to the zoning office and a public hearing will be set up for you.
