The County Treasurer’s office issues driver license in our office during below listed hours. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Written test 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; drive test Wednesday by appointment 9:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. No driver licenses issued after 4:00 p.m. Call ahead for Holiday Closings. Drivers licenses can be renewed 30 days before or 60 days after your birthday. Click here, to obtain Iowa Driver's Manual & Study Guides. If you are applying for any license, non-driver ID, duplicate, renewal or permit, you must show proof of age and identity. An Iowa-issued photo driver license or non-driver ID is satisfactory proof of age and identity. Verification of your Social Security number is required for all applications. Persons who are age 18 or older and are applying for a new or duplicate DL or ID must provide a "primary" and a "secondary" document. Contact the County Treasurer’s office for what qualifies as a primary or secondary document and proof of Social Security or visit the Iowa Department of Transportation web site, to obtain complete information. |
