The Engineer/Road Department is in charge of the 568.6 miles of paved, gravel
and dirt roads and the 122 bridges in the county. They maintain roads year-round,
including road signs, plowing snow, graveling, grading and mowing road shoulders.
They are also in charge of all road, bridge and culvert construction.
